Jagadguru graces Mattancherry and Ernakulam

At the invitation of the Karanthayar Palayam Maha Samooham and the Brahmins Welfare Association (affiliated to Kerala Brahmana Sabha) at Kochi, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji visited Mattancherry and Ernakulam on 1st and 2nd June. On 1st June, the Mahaswamiji was received at Anavathil Kotta, Mattancherry, Kochi with Poornakumbham by Sri V Ramalingam, President, Kerala Brahmana Sabha and Sri V S Parasurama Iyer, Managing Trustee of the Samooham. The Mahaswamiji had Darshan of Lord Dharma Shasta and blessed the devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam. The Mahaswamiji performed the Chandramoulishwara Puja at Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Pravachana Mandiram at the Thekkemadhom temple. On June 2nd morning, the Mahaswamiji gave Darshan at Sri Sharada Sankara Kalyana Mandapam near the Agrahara. The Mahaswamiji then gave Darshan at Gangotri Kalyana Mandapam, Kinattukkara Samooham, Ernakulam. In the evening, the Mahaswamiji visited Sri Shiva Kshetram (Ernakulam) Subrahmanya Swamy temple (Ernakulam), Hanuman temple, Maadhva Samajam and the Grama Jana Samooham and returned to Kalady.
