Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed a special Somavara Puja on the four Somavaras of the Kartika Maasa (October-Nov 2014) of the Jaya Samvatsara. On October 27th, November 3rd, 10th and 17th, the Jagadguru performed the Kartika Somavara Puja to Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon amidst chanting of Veda Mantras by the Pandits of the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham and the Vidyarthis of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala, Sringeri. Many hundreds watched the Pujas which were also shown live on Sri Sankara TV.
