Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam inaugurated a state-of-the art scanner at the Sringeri Math’s Sri Shankara Advaita Research Centre in Narasimha Vanam on March 7, 2017. Sringeri Math CEO and Director of the Research Centre, Dr. V R Gowrishankar conveyed that the installation of this high-end scanner was the first ever in the country. This scanner will help to digitise the “Saraswati Pustaka Bhandara”, the centuries old collection of manuscripts, historical records and books in the archives of the Math.
