Sringeri being situated amidst the scenic Malnad forest in a natural lovers paradise. “Sringeri” derving from the sanskrit name “SRINGAGIRI” is located on the banks of the Tunga and surrounded by thick tropical forests consisting of rare and medicinal trees and plants. The institution has taken great interest in nursing this forest wealth.
The Institution is developing 15 acre plot for Naksthra Vana, Navagraha Vana with the help of Forest Department. The Herbal Garden having rare medicinal power are also being planted and being grown.
