Sri Gayatri Ammavari Alayam (Ashramam)


History

Sri Gayatri Ashramam was constructed at the edge of Indra Keeladri at Durga Ghat which is in National Highway border on 13.10.1964 in 200 Square Yards. The main object of establishing the Ashramam is to conduct “Japa” pujas and Veda Parayanams, etc.  Later it was  handed over to  Sri Sringeri Sarada Peetham. Sringeri, Karnataka State.

In the year 2007 Bhavani Ammavari Deeksha Viramana Days took place from 30-12-2007 to 05-01-2008.

Renovation of the temple was carried out by constructing steps towards temple.

After complete renovation of the temple a function was held on Jeshta Bahula Tadiya. Homamulu and Archana Karyakramamulu were performed and Annadana Prasadam distributed to the devotees in large scale on 10.06.2009 this year.

During Dasara Festivcal 10 days Sri Gayatri Ammavaru will be decorated with different alamkarams. Every day nitya Dhupa Deepa Naivedyamulu are performed
