Sringeri Bharati Vidyashram

Sri Sringeri Bharati Vidyashram was established by Sri Mahasannidhanam nearly four decades ago. His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamigal laid the foundation for the new building in the year 1988.

The present building was opened by the Jagadguru during His Vijaya Yatra to Chennai in 1995. Sri Sannidhanam performed the Kumbhabhisekam in May 1995 and installed idols of Sri Mahaganapati, Goddess Sri Sharadambal and Sri Adi Shankaracharya.

In front of the Temple, there is a beautiful Prayer and Meditation Hall. The Temple is open from 6 to 10.30 AM in the mornings and from 5 to 8.30 PM in evenings.

All the important functions take place here and the main event is the celebration of Sharan-Navaratri.
