With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Sharada Sharan-Navaratri Mahotsava will be celebrated in Sringeri as well as all branches of Sringeri Math in the country. In this conjunction, Navaratri Mahotsava will also be celebrated at Bangalore in the Shankarapuram at the Sringeri Math Premises. Dharma upanayana will be performed at Sri Sringeri Shankara Math ,Bangalore On Vaishaka Bhahula Panchami ie.22.05.2011,sunday for boys who are between 8 and 12 years.Those interested may contact the Sri math office at Bangalore to complete the necessary formalities by submitting the necessary application forms .

Shankara Jayanti Mahotsava at Bangalore Shankara Math May 2, 2011

As a part of Sri Shankara Jayanti Mahotsava observed at Sringeri aswell as branch maths throughout the country, the five day long celebrations will also be celebrated with the benign blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji at the the century old Bangalore branch of Sri Sringeri Math at Shankarapuram from 4th May 2011 to 8th May 2011.
