Sri Saraswati Homam at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math
Before the examination season, to invoke the blessings of Goddess Saraswathi (Saradambal) to children, Sri Saraswathi Homam was performed for the first time in Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai on Sunday, the 26th February 2012. Rathasaptami celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math
On Monday, the 30th Janaury 2012, Ratha-Saptami was celebrated with special Soorya Namaskaram being performed at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai. Large number of devotees participated in the Namaskaram and the vidyarthis of Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirta Veda Samskrita Patashala recited Aruna Prasnam.
Mumbai Sringeri Math Mahashivaratri Celebrations
With the Benign Blessings of Dakshinamnaya Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Mahashivarathri will be celebrated on Monday, the 20th February 2012.
Lalita-homam on Lalita-Panchami at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara math
Lalitha Homam was performed for the first time at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai on Lalitha Panchami day, on Saturday, the January 28, 2012. Large number of devotees attended the Homam and received blessings of Goddess Lalita.
Makara Sankranti celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math
On Sunday, the 15th January 2012, Makara Sankranti was celebrated at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai by performing special Surya Namaskaram.
Sri Hanumat Jayanti Celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math
Sri Hanumath Jayanthi was celebrated in Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai on Saturday, 24th December 2011. Sri Purushasookta Abhishekam was performed. Large number of devotees recited Vishnu Sahasranamam and Sri Hanuman Chalisa. Photos taken during the celebrations are at the gallery below.

Sanskrit examination certificates awarded to students
Vidyarthis of Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirta Veda Samskrita Patashala, Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai were awarded certificates for the examination held in August 2011 by Sri Surasaraswathi Sabha (Regd)., Sringeri - Bangalore, by the Chief Guest Smt. Ananthalakshmi Ammal of Geeta Govinda Samskrita Sangha, Bangalore.
Karthikai Deepotsavam at Mumbai
Karthikai (Vrishchika) Deepotsavam was celebrated at Sri Sringeri Math in Chembur on 8th and 9th December 2011. Large number of devotees assembled to light the lamps at 7.00 pm. Photos taken on the occassion are in the gallery.
