Vikari Samvatsara Panchangams uploaded to website March 28, 2019

The panchangams in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu published by Sri Math for the Vikari Samvatsara (2019-2020) has been uploaded. A copy can be downloaded from the “Panchangam” page.

Sri Sannidhanam graces Makkikoppa March 25, 2019

On March 25, 2019, Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam graced Makkikoppa village near Jayapura and inaugurated a public function hall named, “Sri Guru Sharada Niketan”. Prior to the inauguration ceremony, Sri Sannidhanam had Darshan at the nearby Sri Choudeshwari Devi temple. Poornahuti of Ganapati Homa was also performed in the divine presence of the Jagadguru. Later, Sri Sannidhanam blessed the gathered devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam highlighting the importance of service to the needy and abstinence from committing sinful deeds.

Kotehaklu Belleshwara Temple Kumbhabhisheka March 24, 2019

On March 24, 2019, Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam graced Kotehaklu village in Tirthahalli Taluk and performed the Kumbhabhisheka of Sri Belleshwara temple. Later, Sri Sannidhanam blessed devotees with an Anugraha Bhashanam in the Guruvandana Sabha.

On March 7, 2019, former Prime Minister Sri H D Deve Gowda and the current chief minister of Karnataka Sri H D Kumaraswamy had Darshan of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam along with their family members at Gurunivas, Narasimhavanam, Sringeri.

Durgamba Rathotsava March 15, 2019

The annual Durgamba Rathotsava, took place at Sringeri on March 14, 2019 at the temple of Goddess Vanadurga. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam led the Rathotsava.

Mahashivaratri 2019 March 8, 2019

Mahashivaratri was observed at Sringeri by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam on March 4, 2019. During the day, Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam offered worship at the ancient temple of Sri Malahanikareshwara at around 11:30 AM on Mahashivaratri day. Sri Mahasannidhanam first worshipped Sri Stambha Ganapati, and then performed a special Puja to Lord Malahanikareshwara with Phala-Panchamrita Abhisheka and Rudrabhisheka. There after Sri Mahasannidhanam performed a special Puja to Goddess Bhavani.

Sringeri Town Panchayat Karyalaya inauguration March 3, 2019

On March 3, 2019, Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam inaugurated “Sri Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Sabha Bhavana”, the renovated building of the Sringeri Town Panchayat located in Harihara Street near the Sharabamba temple, Sringeri. The Jagadguru then graced the Poornahuti of Vastu Homa inside the building. Later, the Jagadguru performed Puja to the marble Vigraha of the Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji consecrated inside the building.

Sri T.D. Raje Gowda, MLA of the Sringeri Assembly Constituency, Sri D.N. Jeevaraj, former MLA, Sri Jayashila Chandrashekhar, President of the Taluk Panchayat, and other dignitaries offered their Pranams to Sri Sannidhanam.
