Subrahmanyeshwara temple Visit and Honouring of the distinguished
On 22nd May 2007, the Jagadguru performed Puja at the Subrahmanyeshwara temple, Kumara Park and inaugurated the Temple arches. The Prathistha here had been performed by Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiga
Book on First Struggle for Independence released
On 21st May 2007 evening, the Jagadguru released a book titled “1857 - Bharateeya Swatantraya Sangrama”, a Kannada translation of the Marathi original penned by freedom fighter Sri Veer Savarkar.
Jagadguru at the Jnanodaya School
Jnanodaya School in Basavanagudi is being run by the Peetham. The Jagadguru visited the school on 21st May 20007 and dedicated a marble statue of Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamigal, during whose time the school came into existence.
Chaturamnaya Peetha Sammelan
The city of Bangalore resembled Prayag on May 19 and 20 with the historic event of Chaturamnaya Peetha Sammelan being held at the Shankarapuram Math complex.
Samarpana of Vajra Kireeta to Goddess Sharada
On the Shatamanotsava day, a diamond crown (Vajra Kireeta) for Goddess Sharada was submitted at the Lotus Feet of the Jagadguru by Sri V R Gowrishankar on behalf of the devotees of Bangalore city

At the request of the royal scion of Mysore, His Highness Sri Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodeyar, the Jagadguru went to the Bangalore palace of the scion on 18th May 2007.
Jnanashakti Subrahmanyaswamy temple Kumbhabhisheka
On 17th May the Jagadguru went to Jnanashakti Nagar and worshipped Jnanashakti Subrahmanyaswamy and declared open the newly built Yagashala, and delivered Anugraha Bhashana for the benefit of devotees gathered there.

The Centenary Celebrations of Bangalore Shankara Math
On May 14, the Centenary Celebrations (Shatamanotsava) of the Shankarapuram Math started at 7 AM with Jagadguru first performing Abhisheka to Goddess Sharada and then to Sri Adi Shankara
