Rig-Yajus and Sama Samhita Yajnas commence
In conjunction with the 61st Vardhanti Mahotsava celebrations, Samhita Yajna of the three Vedas namely Rigveda, Yajurveda and Samaveda are being conducted in three seperately constructed Yagashalas opposite Sri Sacchidananda Vilas in Narasimhavanam.

Vardhanti celebrations begin with propitiation to Sri Mahaganapati
The 61st Vardhanti Mahotsavam of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji took off today, the fourth of April 2011, with the Laksha-Modaka Mahaganapati homam at a specially built Yagashala in Narasimhavanam to propitiate Lord Sri Mahaganapati.
