There is a congregation of all Sanskrit institutes of Pune in the prestigious Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute (BORI), Pune (the biggest library of Sanskrit texts in Asia). On Wednesday, 1 August 2012, (Purnima) Annasantarpanam for all participants is being arranged by Sringeri Math, Pune branch.

The Dakshinayana deepa pooja by about 100 suvasinis will be performed on Friday, 3 August 2012, from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM followed by Mahaprasadam for all present.

Varadhanti celebrations at Pune branch,2012 July 15, 2012

At Shringeri Math, Pune branch, the 62nd varadhanti of the Jagadguru was celebrated with performance of many a homam, concluding with Sri Rudra Homan. Eleven Vidyarthis (students) from Alandi veda patashala recited laghu Rudram. In Sharadamba sannidhi, 62 oil lamps were lit (see gallery below). All devotees were served mahaprasadam.

Maharudrabhisheka by Sringeri Math, Pune April 9, 2012

During the month of Dhanur (mid Dec 2011 to mid Jan 2012), Maharudrabhisheka was performed for Adi Shankara by chanting Sri Rudram 1331 times by 25 Veda pundits for two days at Sringeri Math, Pune. This was followed by Maha Rudra Homam.
