Should one be physically present at Sringeri to perform any Seva ?

Although it is not necessary for a Devotee to be physically present for performing the Seva, it is always suggested to perform the Seva by visiting Sringeri in person, have the Darshan of Goddess Sri Sharadamba and get the Blessings of His Holiness.

However for performing Aksharabhayasa (Vidhyaramba) for the child the devotee is required to be present alongwith the Child.
