Samskrita Dinam at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math


 

Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Veda Samskrita Pathashala of Sringeri Shankara Math at Mumbai will observe Samskrita Dinam on Sunday, the 11th September 2011 from 3.30 pm at the Basement Hall of Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai.

Dharmapracharakar, Shri A.S. Gopalakrishnan will preside over the function and Guru Seva Dhooli Smt. Anantalakshmi Ammal, founder of Geeta Govinda Samskrita Sangha, Bangalore will be the Chief Guest.

Children of Bala Kendra of Sri Sringeri Math will recite slokas  and also enact a Sanskrit Drama; the Chief Guest and the President of the function will address the audience on the importance of Samskrita Language.

Also, disciples of Dharmapracharakar Shri A.S. Gopalakrishnan will do the parayanam  of  Srimad Bhagavatam – Navama Skandam from 8.00 AM to 3.30 PM.
