Sri Adi Shankaracharya Ashtottara Shatanama Parayana Yajna – Tamil Nadu


 

 

With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam, and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam, Sri Adi Shankaracharya Ashtottara Shatanama Parayana Yajna commenced throughout Tamilnadu on January 11, 2017. 

Thanks to the effort of all the coordinators, hundreds of centres with groups of devotees across Tamil Nadu have sprung up. As part of the Yajna, tens of thousands of devotees are to chant the Ashtottara Shatanama of Sri Adi Shankaracharya in groups in various districts of Tamil Nadu. As part of the Parayana session, devotees chant the Ekashloki Prakaranam of Sri Adi Shankaracharya, Guru Vandanam, Sri Sharada Bhujanga Stotram of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and the Ashtottara Shatanamavali of Sri Adi Shankaracharya and a Mangalam song.
