On the occassion of Deepavali, the festival of lights, Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai will be decorated with thousands of Deepas on Friday, 5th and Saturday 6th of November 2010. Goddess Saradambal and the temple will be glittering in the lights.

Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Mahaswamiji’s Jayanti Mahotsa vawill be celebrated at Sri Sringeri Shankara Math, Chembur, Mumbai on Friday, the 5th of November 2010.

In the month of November 2010 the Mrigasheersha Nakshatra falls on Wednesday, the 27th November 2010 and on this auspicious day Srisukta Homam will be perfomred at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai . The Homam will start around 9.00 am and Maha Deeparadhana will take place around 12.30 pm. All devotees are requested to particiate in the Homam and receive the blessings of Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji.

Monthly celebrations on Mrigasheersha Nakshatra Day on the occassion of 60th Year of the Jagadguru – celebrations at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math was celebrated on Thursday, the 30th September 2010. Sri Sudarshana Homam was performed and a large number of devotees attended the Homa and sought the Blessings of Acharyal.

The Mukhya Aaradhana Celebrations of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Abhhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji at Mumbai Sringeri Shankara Math was celebrated on Thursday, the 30th September 2010 in a grand manner.

In accordance with Gracious Direction and Bountiful Blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Shankaracharya Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, it has been decided to celebrate the Sharada Sharan-Navaratri Mahotsava this year from 07.10.2010 to 18.102010 at Sri Sringeri Math, Chembur, Mumbai.

Mukhya Aaradhana of His Holiness Jagadguru Abhinava Vidya Tirtha Mahasannidhanam will be celebrated on Thursday, the 30th September 2010 from 10 am onwards. All devotees are requested to participate in the celebrations and receive the blessings of His Holiness.

The 5-day long Sri Ganesh Utsav commenced on Saturday, 11th September 2010 in the morning with Sri Maha Ganapati Homam, Shata Aavarthi Atharsheersha Abhishekam to the Moola and Utsava Vigrahas of Sri Mahaganapati. In the evening Bhakti Geet Sangeetha Seva was performed by the Students of Nadha Brahmam.
