Sri Vidytheertha Foundation has been conducting an Inter-School essay competition from the year 1995 as per the directions of His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamigal in the city of Chennai, capital of Tamil Nadu. The main objective of this competition is to inculcate moral,ethical,traditional and patriotic values in students.

Deepa Pooja was performed by Suvasinis on Friday, the 30th July 2010 at Sri Sringeri Shankara Math, Chembur Mumbai. Around 100 suvasinis participated in it. Lalitha Sahasranama was recited by Dharma Pracharakar Shri A.S. Gopalakrishnan and suvasinis performed the archana on the deepas.

With the benign blessings of Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Dhanvantri Homam was performed on Sunday, 13th June 2010. Being a Sunday, there was a large gathering of devotees. In the evening, Sangeeta Seva was performed by Sri Vignesh Easwar accompanied by Sri Shivakumar in violin and Sri Sriram in mridangam.
