The annual Sharadamba Maharathotsava will be celebrated on 10th February 2012. Schedule of events is as follows.

Sanskrit Teachers Meet at Sringeri
n 25th December 2011, a meeting of Sanskrit teachers was organized by the Peetham’s Surasaraswati Sabha. About 150 Sanskrit teachers from Karnataka gathered at Sringeri.

Ardrotsava at Sringeri
Ardrotsava took place on January 8 2012 with the Mahamangalarati to Lord Malahanikareshwara and Goddess Bhavani being performed early morning in the Jagadguru’s divine presence.
Jagadguru’s short camps in Karnataka
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will have short camps inside Karnataka on five different dates.
Sringeri Math publications at New Delhi Sanskrit book fair
The Publication department of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham has got a stall in the World Sanskrit book fair at New Delhi. Interested devotees in and around New Delhi and the devotees who visit the conference can avail this oppurtunity to buy the books and DVDs published by the Peetham.

Karthika Somavara Puja and Ksheerabdhi Dwadashi
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji performed Kartika Somavara Puja on October 31st, November 7th, 14th and 21st 2011 with an elaborate worship of Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon.

Jagadguru in Shimoga district
On the afternoon of 16th November 2011, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji started towards Shimoga district and reached the Hosahalli Agrahara near Shimoga town.

The Shakti Ganapati Mahapradosha was celebrated this year on 22nd November 2011 at the shrine of Sri Shakti Ganapati at Goddess Sharada temple, with the Blessings of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji.

Subrahmanya Shashti
Sri Subrahmanya Shashthi was celebrated on 30th November 2011. Pavamana Abhisheka and Rudra Abhisheka were performed at the shrine of Sri Balasubrahmanyaswamy at Sringeri.
