The Vardhanti of Mahasannidhanam Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will be celebrated on March 25, 2015 at Sringeri.
On the occasion hundreds of thousands of devotees from all parts of the country and abroad will congregate at Sringeri to seek the blessings of the Jagadguru Mahaswamiji.
As a part of the celebrations, many Vedic ceremonies will be performed beginning March 22, 2015. On March 25, 2015, the Jagadguru will bless all devotees at morning and perform a special puja to Goddess Sri Sharadamba at noon. A special Guru Vandanam function has also been arranged at evening on the same day, in which the Jagadguru will bless all with a benedictory speech.
Eminent musicians will also perform at the Sri Math, as a part of the festivities from March 21 to March 28, 2015.

All the Sevakas of Sringeri Sharada Peetham who were involved in the preparation and conduct of the Uttaradhikari Shishya Sweekara function assembled at Gurunivas in Narasimhavanam on the morning of January 30, 2015 to have Darshan of Mahasannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and Sannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji and offered Samashti Bhikshavandanam.
Lalita Panchami was celebrated on 25th January 2015. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji offered special worship to Goddess Sharadamba on the occasion. Ratha Saptami was observed on 26th January 2015.
One hundred and twenty years ago, in 1895, corresponding to the “Manmatha” year in the traditional Indian Almanac, the 33rd Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham at Sringeri, Sri Sri Sacchidananda Shivabhinava Narasimha Bharati Mahaswamiji founded the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala to foster and promote Vedic education. Since then, the Pathashala has been playing a vital role in preserving the hoary Vedic wisdom by producing many Vedic as well as Shastric scholars year after year.
On January 23, 2015, continuing this unbroken Guru-Shisya lineage that stretches directly back to Sri Adi Shankaracharya, the 36th Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji anointed His successor. In a traditional ceremony, the Jagadguru initiated Brahmachari Sri Kuppa Venkateshwara Prasada Sharma into Sannyasa and bestowed upon him the Yoga Patta (monastic name) of Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati.

Ardrotsava took place on 5th January 2015 with the Mahamangalarati to Lord Malahanikareshwara and Goddess Bhavani being performed at around 5’O clock in the morning in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankarcharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji.
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, the presiding Acharya of the Peetham and the thirty sixth in the Guru Parampara, is a scholar nonpareil. Since becoming the Peethadhipati in 1989, the Jagadguru has propagated and spread the tenets of Sanatana Dharma and the Vedanta philosophy.
On Feb 9th, 2015 morning Mahasannidhanam, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and Sannidhanam Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji reached Narasimhapura and performed Kumbhabhisheka in the Lord Venkateshwara temple, that belongs to the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
The annual “Maha-Rathotsava” or the ‘Grand Car festival’ of Goddess Sri Sharadamba will be celebrated on the 7th of February 2015 in the August presence of both Sri Mahasannidhanam, Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji and Sri Sannidhanam Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji.
