Jagadguru on a short tour in Karnataka
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji will undertake a 1-day camp to Shimoga in Karnataka. The Jagadguru will start from Sringeri on the afternoon of 16th November 2011 and return the following evening. The Sharada Chandramoulishwara Puja on 17th evening will be performed by the Jagadguru as usual in Sringeri.
Navaratri Celebrations at Sringeri
The annual Sharan-Navaratri celebrations was celebrated in a grand manner at Sringeri from the 27th of September to the 11th Octonber 2011.

Karnataka CM Visits
On September 13th, Karnataka Chief Minister Sri Sadananda Gowda visited Sringeri and had Darshan at temple of Goddess Sharada. He then came to Narasimha Vanam and had Darshan of the Jagadguru.
Samskritotsava Celebrated
Samskritotsava was observed by the staff and students of the Rajiv Gandhi Kendriya Samskrita Vidya Peetham at Sringeri on 14th August 2011.
Mahaganapati Vakyartha Sabha
Conducted in Sri Sacchidananda Vilas in Narasimha Vanam, the Mahaganapati Vakyartha Sabha proceedings consisted of deliberations in Shastras such as Vedanta, Mimamsa, Nyaya and Vyakarana. About 50 erudite shastric scholars across the country participated in the Sabha and deliberated in Sanskrit for 13 days from Vinayaka Chaturthi day (Sep 1st).
Jagadguru completes Chaturmasya
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji completed His 37th Chaturmasya on 12th September 2011 at Sringeri.
Shaankara Tattva Prasaara Abhiyaanam
Launched with the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, the Shaankara Tattva Prasaara Abhiyaanam continued in Bangalore and Swarnavalli (Shirsi) in July and August 2011.
