This temple is situated in the west of Shringeri near the bus stand on Koppa Agumbe Road.

Sri Shankara consecrated the temple of Sri Anjaneya Swami temple in the west. A flight of steps takes the devotees inside a small hall and a few more steps inside to have darshan of Sri Anjaneya carved on a rock.

Deepotsavam is conducted on a Saturday in the month of Kartika Krishnapaksha on a grand scale annually in the benign presence of His Holiness..

Every Saturday the local Bhajan Mandali group sing bhajans in the evening
