On December 29, 2018, Kalabhairavashtami was observed at Sringeri with Lord Kalabhairava being worshipped by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Sri Mahasannidhanam.

On December 22, 2018, Andhakasura Vadha was performed near the Rajagopuram at around 10 pm in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Sri Mahasannidhanam after the Chandramoulishwara Puja.

On December 21, 2017, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam offered a special Puja to Goddess Kalikamba, the guardian deity installed in the northern direction of Sringeri by Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya. Sri Mahasannidhanam blessed the Seva Kartas with Kumkuma Prasada.

On December 18, 2018 (Margashira Shuddha Ekadashi), commemorating Gita Jayanti, the day the teaching of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was bestowed upon Arjuna, a group chanting of Srimad Bhagavad Gita took place at the Pravachana Mandiram in Sringeri with the blessings of Sri Mahasannidhanam. The chanting was led by those who had participated in the Gita Jnana Yajna scheme of the Sringeri Math and can recite the entire Gita from memory. Vidwan Krishnaraja Bhat of the Sringeri Pathashala spoke abt the greatness of the Gita and the importance of bodily, verbal and mental Tapas as outlined in the Gita.

Eye surgeon Dr A G Ramesh along with fellow doctors and members of the Abhinava Bharati Satsang, a spiritual wing of Abhinavas Eye Clinic at Adyar, Chennai had Darshan of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam on December 12, 2018. Sri Mahasannidhanam graced the members of the Satsang in a special function organized at Guru Nivas the same afternoon.

Karnataka Chief Minister Sri HD Kumaraswamy Gowda visited Sringeri on December 6 and 7, 2018, had Darshan of Goddess Sharadamba and participated in Homas. On both days, the Chief Minister had Darshan and received the blessings of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam. Public Works Department Minister of Karnataka, Sri HD Revanna also had Darshan on the occasion.

With the blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam, the Pradosha Sangha of Sri Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala conducted the Shakti Ganapati Mahapradosha on December 4, 2018 at the shrine of Sri Shakti Ganapati inside the Goddess Sharadamba temple.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed Kartika Somavara Pujas on November 12, 19, 26, and December 3, 2018 to Sri Chandramoulishwara Sphatika Linga in the afternoon amidst the chanting of Veda Mantras by the Pandits of the Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham and the Vidyarthis of the Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala, Sringeri.

Kartika Deepotsava, celebrated by lighting a hundred thousand lamps (Laksha Deepotsava) took place on the Poornima of Kartika month on November 24, 2018. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam arrived at the hillock temple of Sri Malahanikareshwara. After Mahamangalarati was performed to Lord Malahanikareshwara and Goddess Bhavani, Ashtavadhana Seva took place. The Laksha Deepotsava then began with Sri Mahasannidhanam lighting the first lamp. The Utsava Moorti of Lord Bhavani and Malahanikareshwara was carried along the main streets of Sringeri. Sri Mahasannidhanam then lit the huge Deepa in the form of a Sri Chakra inside Sri Sharadamba temple. Following this, the golden chariot Utsava of Goddess Sharada took place.

Ksheerabdhi Dwadashi was celebrated on November 20, 2018 with a special Puja to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha in Narasimhapura Agrahara in Sringeri. Dhatri Homa and Tulasi Kalyanam were also performed at the temple. The Poornahuti of the Dhatri Homa and Mangalarati to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha took place in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam.

The 685th Aradhana of the 10th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji was observed reverentially on November 14, 2018. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed the Aradhana Pooja at noon in the sanctum sanctorum of the magnificent Sri Vidyashankara temple built over the Samadhi location of the 10th Acharya.

Bali Padya was celebrated on November 8, 2018. Go Pooja was performed by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam in the morning in Narasimha Vanam. Sri Mahasannidhanam also had Darshan at all the temples. Balindra Pooja was performed in the evening at Goddess Sharada temple.

On the 126th Jayanti day of the 34th Acharya, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam offered homage at the Adhishthanam shrine in Narasimha Vanam at noon and were present for the Arati of Shatarudra Abhisheka Puja. Sri Sannidhanam also performed a special Puja with Rudra Krama Archana at the shrines at night. Sri Mahasannidhanam was present for the Mahamangalarati. On the 101st Jayanti day of the 35th Acharya, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam offered homage at the Adhishthanam shrine in Narasimha Vanam at noon and was present for the Arati of Shatarudra Abhisheka Puja. On November 5, 2018, a new Goshala was inaugurated in Narasimha Vanam by Sri Mahasannidhanam and Sri Sannidhanam. The Goshala is unique in that its roof is made of the roof structures that adorned the top of the Sharadamba temple (before the renovation during the Centenary Celebrations last year).

Audio of an unique slogan to be chanted in the divine presence of Sringeri Jagadgurus which has potent prayers to fetch us welfare was released on the Auspicious Vardhanti day of Mahasannidhanam by the Lotus Hands of Sannidhanam at Vijayawada.

The 68th Vardhanti celebrations of Jagaduguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam will be celebrated in a grand scale at Sringeri on March 23, 2018.

Sri Vidyatirtha Foundation has also organised to celebrate this auspicious event at Chidambaram, the holy abode of Lord Shiva in Tamil Nadu. Various special pujas will be performed at the shrine; and discourses have been arranged at the 1000 pillar mandapam in the Temple.
