Jagadguru Namanam & Sri Lalita Sahasranama
In honour of Jagadguru Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji, the following spiritual discourses and events will be held:
Topic: The Divine Life of Jyeshta Mahasannidhanam
Speaker: Gurubhakta Mani Melmangalam Sri N. Venkataraman, Additional Solicitor General of India
Topic: Shanmatha-Sthaapana-Acharya – Jagadguru Sri Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji
Speaker: Smt. Sharada Gannavaram
Theme: Based on Sri Lalita Sahasranama – the sacred text from the Brahmanda Purana which enumerates the thousand names of Mother Goddess Lalita Tripurasundari.
The discourse explores how many of these divine names embody profound Vedantic truths, where the Goddess is not only venerated as a deity, but as the non-dual Brahman itself — showcasing the unity of Bhakti (devotion), Shakti (energy), and Jnana (knowledge).
The evening session Jagadguru Namanam will be broadcast live on the official YouTube page of Sharada Peetham:

Gita Jnana Yagna
In an effort to promote the timeless wisdom of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, under the divine directions of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, launched the Gita Jnana Yagna initiative in 1995. In 2006, the reward was further enhanced to inspire greater participation.
Individuals of all ages are encouraged to memorize and recite all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita. Participants are first examined by scholars of the Math, and upon commendable performance, receive a certificate, a cash prize of ₹21,000, and the benign blessings of the Jagadguru.
Thousands have taken part in this sacred Yagna, upholding and reviving the living tradition of Gita chanting. This month alone, nearly 1,000 participants are scheduled to take the examination. Earlier today (4th June 2025), over 100 participants appeared for the exam, and those who successfully completed it were graciously blessed by Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam.
