Sri Narasimha Jayanti
In the Guruparampara of the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, all the Jagadgurus are great upasakas of Bhagavan Sri Narasimha.
On the occasion of Narasimha Jayanti falling on Vaishakha Shukla Chaturdashi, marking the Avatara of Bhagavan Narasimha, special puja to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha was performed by the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji. During the course of the Puja which commenced at around noon, Phala-Panchamruta Abhisheka was offered to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha as a part of the Shodashopachara Puja. The Puja concluded at around 2 PM with the Jagadguru performing the Parayana of the chapter from Srimad Bhagavad Puranam depicting the Narasimha Avatara.
In the evening Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji performed elaborate Puja to Bhagavan Lakshmi Narasimha at the Narasimhapura temple in Sringeri, that was followed by a Ashtavadhana Seva.
Poornahuti of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Homa took place in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam at Narasimhapura, Sringeri in the morning.

Sri Girija Kalyanotsava
Girija Kalyana Mahotsava was celebrated in a grand manner in the hillock temple of Sri Bhavani Malahanikareshwara on Vaishakha Shuddha Dvadashi (Tuesday, April 28, 2026).
The Mahotsava commenced with Vara Puja the previous day (Ekadashi). On the morning of the Dvadashi, special Puja to the deities and Navagraha Homa was performed. At 5 pm, the Kashi Yatra ceremony took place in the Pravachana Mandiram near the Sharadamba temple. Mangalarati was performed in the divine presence of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam in the Pravachana Mandiram.
At 8 pm, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam arrived at the Malahanikareshwara temple, following which Mahamangalarati was performed to Sri Ganapati, Sri Malahanikareshwara and Sri Bhavani Amba. Thereafter the Jagadguru adorned the Kalyana Mandapa wherein were placed the exquisitely decorated Vigrahas of Sri Bhavani and Sri Malahanikareshwara. The Girija Kalyanotsava began after Phala Samarpanam to Sri Sannidhanam.
The elaborate Girija Kalyana procedure including Kanyaavarana, Devata-Ahvaana, Mangalaashtaka Pathana, Mahasankalpa, Madhuparka Puja, Kanya Daana, Mangalya Dharana, Akshataaropana, Saptapadi, Vivaha Pradhaana Homa, Laaja Homa, Mahapuja, Mahamangalarati, Rajopachara Puja and Ashtavadhana Seva was then conducted in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam and witnessed by many devotees.
The events and puja at the Sannidhis of Sri Malahanikareshwara & Sri Bhavani (Utsava Murtis) were performed respectively by the Pradhaana Archaka of Sri Malahanikareshwara & the Purohit of the Sringeri Math. Devotees joyfully beheld the entire Mahotsava conducted in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam.

Distribution of 75 Auto Rickshaws under Vajrotsava Bharati Mahotsava
As part of the compassionate initiatives undertaken during the Vajrotsava Bharati Mahotsava, 75 auto rickshaws have been sanctioned for the needy and deserving, with the Peetham contributing more than half of the cost. Marking a significant step in this initiative, the first set of beneficiaries received their auto rickshaw keys from the Lotus hands of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam at Guru Nivasa, Sringeri.
This noble effort reflects the Peetham’s continued commitment towards uplifting livelihoods and supporting the economically underprivileged sections of society.
