Message from the CEO’s desk
I am pleased to convey that, as per the directions of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, Sri Bhamidipati Venkata Rama Subrahmanyam, S/o. Bhamidipati Suryanarayana Murty, widely known as Sri B. V. R. Subrahmanyam (Retd. IAS), is appointed as Director – Special Projects of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri. The Director – Special Projects shall oversee, coordinate and facilitate the planning, execution and monitoring of certain Special projects of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri or initiatives entrusted by the Jagadgurus from time to time.
The Director – Special Projects shall discharge the responsibilities entrusted to him by the CEO under the guidance and blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharathi Tirtha Mahasannidhanam and Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam and, in close coordination with the CEO & Administrator of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, provide leadership for the planning, coordination and successful implementation of the Special Projects and liaise with Government Departments, statutory authorities, consultants, architects, engineers, educational and research institutions, philanthropic organizations and other stakeholders, as may be required.

ಈ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಮ್ನಾಯ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿ ಶಾರದಾ ಪೀಠಾಧೀಶ್ವರರಾದ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಭಾರತೀತೀರ್ಥ ಮಹಾಸನ್ನಿಧಾನಂಗಳವರ ಪೂರ್ಣಾನುಗ್ರಹದೊಂದಿಗೆ ತತ್ಕರಕಮಲ ಸಂಜಾತರಾದ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಧುಶೇಖರಭಾರತೀ ಸನ್ನಿಧಾನಂಗಳವರು "ನಮಃ ಶಂಕರಾಯ" ಎಂಬ ಮಂತ್ರದ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೆರೆದ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಂತರ ನಾಮಜಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶೃಂಗೇರಿಯ ವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಂಕರಗಿರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರದಕ್ಷಿಣೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 20/04/2026 ಸೋಮವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 04:30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಕೆಳಕಂಡ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ.
1) 01-05 ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಬಣ್ಣ ತುಂಬಿಸುವುದು.
2) 06-10ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದು.
ಇದೆ ದಿನ ಸಂಜೆ 06:00ಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾದಸಿರಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ವೃಂದದವರಿಂದ ಜಗದ್ಗುರು ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿ ಶಂಕರಾಚಾರ್ಯರಿಂದ ರಚಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆಯ್ದ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪಠಣ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ರಾಜಗೋಪಾಲ್ ರವರು ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Today we are the followers of Sanatana Dharma only because of the relentless efforts of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya, the incarnation of Lord Paramashiva. Twelve centuries ago, the great Acharya spread the Upanishadic import of Advaita touring all over the country. With great foresight, Sri Adi Shankaracharya established four Amnaya Peethams in the four directions of India. Among these, the Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham established at Sringeri has been adorned by an unbroken succession of illustrious Gurus right from Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s direct disciple, Sri Sureshwaracharya. The lives of the Acharyas and their efforts to continue the mission of Sri Adi Shankaracharya are remarkable and unique. By their own conduct and by their discourses, the Acharyas of the Peetham teach Dharma and instill the need for paying gratitude to Sri Adi Shankaracharya among the masses.
This year, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam will celebrate
Sri Shankara Jayanti of the Parabhava Samvatsara in Sringeri from April 18, 2026 to April 21, 2026. The programme includes Special Poojas at the shrine of Sri Shankara Bhagavatpadacharya in the mornings and Pravachanams in the august presence of Jagadguru Mahaswamiji in the evenings. Parayana of the Vedas and Sri Vidyaranya Veda Bhashya will be conducted in the morning and evening on all these days.
As part of the Celebrations, the Veda Poshaka Sabha of the Sringeri Math will conduct a conference of Vedic scholars. This Sabha was commenced in 1974 by the 35th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji for the propagation of Vedic knowledge. Since then, students belonging to various Veda Shakhas from all over the country have been participating in the Veda Pareeksha conducted by the Sabha. Successful candidates have been honoured with certificates and cash awards as per the instruction of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji. Such scholars who have passed the exam are invited every year and honoured.
On the Shashti day (April 22, 2026), there will be a Splendid Rathotsava of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya. The same evening, honours to Vedic scholars and certificates to successful students will be conferred by Jagadguru Mahaswamiji.
We request all devotees to participate in this auspicious Shankara Jayanti celebrations and be the recipient of the benign blessings of the Jagadguru.

Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam Graces Inaugural Session of Symposium on Sanatan Dharma in Sanskrit at Gurunivas, Sringeri
A one-day Symposium in Sanskrit on the theme "Sanatan Dharma", jointly organized by Sahitya Akademi and the Central Sanskrit University, Sri Bharatitirtha Shastra Samutkarsha Kendram, was inaugurated on 14th July 2026 at Gurubhavanam, Sri Math, Sringeri.
The inaugural session commenced with the ceremonial proceedings, followed by addresses highlighting the significance of Sanatan Dharma, the importance of Sanskrit as the repository of India's spiritual wisdom, and the need to preserve and propagate the nation's timeless cultural heritage through scholarly study and dialogue.
The inaugural session concluded with the Anugraha Bhashanam of Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam and blessing all the academicians and students with Phala Mantrakshata.

Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam Donates Ambulance to Auto Drivers’ and Owners’ Association in Sringeri Assembly
Last month, members of the Koppa Auto Drivers’ and Owners’ Association in the Sringeri Assembly Constituency had darshan of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam and submitted an earnest request for an ambulance to facilitate the timely transportation of patients, pregnant women and accident victims across the hilly region.
Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam graciously blessed their request and today presented the Association with a fully equipped ambulance.
The Association has assured Sri Sharada Peetham that only a fee sufficient to cover the running expenses will be charged, while the service will be provided free of cost to those in genuine need.

Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam inaugurates Vidya Tirtha Kripa - New Building of His Holiness’ Private Secretary Office
On Parabhava Samvatsara Jyeshtha Krishna Dashami (July 9, 2026), Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam inaugurated the newly constructed “Vidyatirtha Kripa” - the Office of the Private Secretary of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham - at Narasimha Vanam.
Arriving at around 8:30 am, Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam was accorded a traditional Poorna Kumbha Swagata by the CEO and Administrator of Sringeri Math, Guru Seva Nirata Sri P. A. Murali, along with the Private Secretary, Vedabrahmasri T. Dakshinamurthy.
The Poornahuti of the Sahasra Modaka Ganapati Homa was performed in the divine presence of Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam. Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam then entered the main premises of the Private Secretary Office and inaugurated the building with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, accompanied by Veda Ghosha. Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam then inspected the newly built offices of the Private Secretary including the seva counters etc. Jagadguru Sri Mahasannidhanam unveiled the commemorative plaque, blessed the members of the Sringeri Math administration and the assembled devotees.
