The 61st Aradhana of the renowned Jivanmukta and the 34th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Sri Chandrashekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, was reverentially observed on the Mahalaya Amavasya day which fell on the 12th of October, 2015 in this Manmatha Samvatsara.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam offered special Aradhana Puja at the Adhishthanam of His Paramaguru. Sri Sannidhanam, Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, was also present to offer homage to His Parameshti Guru. Sri Mahasannidhanam also offered worship at His Guru’s Adhishthanam after the daily Chandramoulishwara Puja. The night Puja at the Adhishthanam included Rudra Krama Archana followed by Ashtaavadhaana Seva.

Devotees across the globe remembered the revered Acharya who had lead a life of intense Tapas culminating in Jivanmukti, and who has blessed us all with an invaluable commentary on Sri Adi Shankaracharya’s famous Prakarana Grantha, Vivekachoodamani.
