The Dhanur Maasa of Solar almanac starts on 16 December, 2012 and ends on 14 January, 2013.

During this month, the temple opens at 4.30 AM and Aarti is done before sunrise followed by recitation of Sri Aditya Hridyam stotram. Vaishwadeva homam will be performed daily.
