As part of the Sri Shankara Jayanti Celebrations of the Vishwavasu Samvatsara, the Veda Poshaka Sabha of the Sringeri Math conducted a conference of Vedic scholars.

This Sabha was commenced 51 years ago by the 35th Acharya of the Peetham, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Mahaswamiji for the propagation of Vedic knowledge.

Since then, students belonging to various Veda Shakhas from all over the country have been participating in the Veda Pareeksha conducted by the Sabha. Successful candidates have been honoured with certificates and cash awards as per the instruction of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji. 

On the Shashti day (May 3, 2025), a Splendid Rathotsava of Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya took place. The same evening, honours to Vedic scholars and certificates to successful students were conferred by Jagadguru Mahaswamiji.
