Girija Kalyanam was celebrated at the Malahanikareshwara temple in the divine presence of the Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam on Vaishakha Shukla Dwadashi (May 18 2016). Pandits from Sadvidya Sanjeevini Samskrita Mahapathashala chanted verses pertaining to the wedding ceremonies of Lord Shiva and Goddess Girija. Earlier, Vara Puja was performed in Pravachana mandira in the divine presence of Sri Sannidhanam.The ceremonies for the night, connected with the Utsavam, concluded with a Mangala Aarati at around midnight.
