The Jagadguru completed the Chaturmasya Vrata on 15th September. The Jagadguru observed the Uma Maheshwara Vrata on the day, and later in the evening, crossed over to the northen bank of the Tunga and had Darshan at Goddess Sharada temple. Thereafter, the Jagadguru walked to the temple of Lord Malahanikareshwara situated on a nearby hillock, and had Darshan

Earlier, the Ananta Padmanabha Vrata (14th September), Vamana Jayanti (11th September), and Vinayaka Chaturthi (3rd September) were devoutly observed at Sringeri with the Jagadguru performing special Pujas. Ganapati was also worshipped at Pravachana Mandir on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi. The following day, the Ganapati idols were immersed in the river Tunga in the presence of the Jagadguru after the Chandramoulishwara Puja.

On 2nd September, Swarna Gowri Vrata was observed at Sringeri in the Pravachana Mandiram. Many Suvasinis came to the Math from in and around Sringeri and offered worship.
