On 6th May 2009, the Jagadguru graced Hagaduru, a hamlet near Sringeri and performed Kumbhabhisheka to the renovated temple of Sri Mallikarjuna Swami. The Jagadguru delivered an Anugraha Bhashanam and blessed the devotees.
