The ancient relationship between the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sri Sharada Peetham. and the famous Sri Subrahmanya Swami temple in Tiruchendur Kshetram is well known to all Astikas.

Acceding to the request of authorities and archakas of the temple who came to Sringeri on June 27, had Darshan of the Sringeri Jagadguru with a personal letter and official invitation to the sacred event of Kumbha, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji, as directed and blessed by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, has undertaken a vijaya yatra to Tiruchendur. 

The Jagadguru performed special Pujas in the Garbhagriha of Bhagavan Sri Subrahmanya and conducted the Kumbhabhishekam on Jul 7, 2025
