On the auspicious occasion of Uma Maheshwara Vrata, observed on Bhadrapada Poornima (Sep 26, 2026), Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahasannidhanam performed special puja to Lord Uma Maheshwara at Gurunivas, upholding the revered traditions of the Sri Math in the afternoon.

The Jagadguru, conducted the Shodashopachara Puja for Lord Uma Maheshwara, filling the sacred space with the sonorous recitation of Vedic chants. This vrata also marked the conclusion of the two-month-long Chaturmasya Vrata observed by the Ubhaya Jagadgurus.
